FAQ

Questions We Get Before Booking

The most common things clients ask before and after a diagnostic session, answered straight.

What exactly is a "face-to-path number"?

It's the gap between where your clubface points and where your club is actually traveling at the moment of impact, measured in degrees. That gap, more than any single number alone, determines whether a shot curves and which direction it curves.

Do I need to be a good golfer to get fit?

Not at all. Directional fitting benefits golfers at every level — higher-handicap players often see the biggest change, since a wide face-to-path gap is usually a bigger factor in their dispersion than swing speed ever was.

How long does a session take?

Single-club sessions run 45–60 minutes. Iron set fittings run 60–90 minutes. A full bag assessment covering every club typically takes 2–3 hours.

Do I have to buy clubs after my session?

No. There's never any obligation to purchase. You'll receive a printed readout with our recommendations and can decide later. If you do order, your session fee is credited in full toward the purchase.

What should I bring?

Bring your current clubs relevant to the fitting, the shoes you normally play in, and a rough sense of your typical scores or handicap if you know it.

How is this different from a regular launch monitor fitting?

Most launch monitor fittings report a single "shot shape" or spin axis number. We report face angle and swing path as two separate readings on every swing, which shows whether a miss comes from the face, the path, or the gap between them — not just the resulting curve.

How long until I receive my new clubs after ordering?

Most builds finish in-house within one week of ordering, since we stock components and build on-site instead of sending orders to an outside factory queue.

Do you fit left-handed golfers?

Yes. Our demo wall includes left-handed heads across every major category, and the impact bay reads face-to-path identically for right- and left-handed golfers.

Can I get fit if I already love my current clubs?

Absolutely — many clients come in simply to verify their current specs are correct, or to check whether their face-to-path number has drifted since their last fitting.

What areas do you serve?

Our studio is located in Boca Raton, Florida, and we regularly work with golfers throughout the surrounding coast, including Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach, and Highland Beach.
